By day, Appetito is a stylish café bar and by night a party venue in the centre of Catford, South East London. Catford, if you don’t know, is famous for its very literal fibre glass black and white cat, and is home to the famous Broadway Theatre, an incredible monument to Art Deco.

So that’s Catford, now, what are you looking for? Alternatively, by day, sink comfortably into our luxurious arm chairs and sofas with a fine-tasting Fair Trade cappuccino or your favourite tipple…Whatever your poison, we’ve got it. It’s a sin, I know, but you may feast on our decadent all day breakfasts, and at lunchtime, or any other time, for that matter, on our tasty sandwiches or Paninis (our sun-dried tomato and mozzarella is extremely popular) and finish off with a naughty treat from our scintillatingly scrumptious selection of cakes, I dare you to not die for . Then, sit back, relax and surf the internet on our free WiFi, or go old-skool and read a newspaper. During Spring and Summer, there is nothing more mellowing than sitting on the terrace shisha-ing together. That’s right; we do Shisha, we have the Hookah pipe here waiting for you…how exotic are we?! If that’s not enough, we can do food catering for you, too. So, no need to surf onto the next website, we got it all going on right here…

Party Venue Hire
Hire our gorgeous café bar as a venue for your party, if you are into contemporary, left-field, quirky charm…’cos that’s what we do! When night falls, we hire out both floors, the ground floor and basement, and your party is private to you and your guests. You can hire with or without our bar, and our fees include SIA registered security. Bring your own cool DJ to spin their tracks on our sound system if you want, or we can let you borrow one of our naughty but nice resident DJs, and as they say, ‘the decision is yours’. Appetito is licensed until 2am, though if you wish to party like a wild one until dawn, we can extend the license to 4am or 5am in the morning… With food, we can do catering for you or you can bring your own, and, if you don’t want to use our bar, you can bring your own drinks. We are easy, man…what’s not to like?

Daytime & Night Time Basement Hire
Appetito has an air-conditioned or heated basement (depending on the activity and time of year) you can hire day or night for meetings, training, exercise classes, music rehearsals, whatever, we are open to creative suggestions! You and your clients are eligible for a discount on food and drink, if you hire it, or you can bring your own. There is a DJ booth with a sound system set up, and a bar area, and our lighting system is flexible and can be altered to suit whatever mood you want to create.

Appetito Nights
On special nights we are open to you all… you can sip, or guzzle back, as the case may be, your preferred moonshine, (that’s alcohol, to you and me) and chill, dance like a banshee or do a Beau Brummel and pose like a dandy to R&B, funk & Pop tracks played by our resident and guest DJs. On our film nights we screen a diverse range of movies; from Bollywood to Hollywood, to Avant Garde, and British and foreign independent cinema.
